Parrots are wild creatures.
They may be domestically bred.
But they are NOT domesticated.
Parrots are messy creatures.
They fling food.
They will poop on your carpet.
They will eat your furniture.
They may never speak. They will be LOUD.
They will be jealous of your friends and family.
Most likely they will bite.
Parrots are high maintenance companions, and they don't care about your money.
A parrot is a very long term commitment. The larger parrots can live to be 80 years old.
Please, before you consider sharing your life with a parrot, take the time to learn about parrots, perhaps when you know enough, you will  adopt, rather than buy, by giving a Parrot in need a home.
An adopted parrot will take time to adjust to its new surroundings, give the parrot a chance, the Parrot will come around.
Let the parrot be who the parrot wants to be, and not your expectation.

It might take time for you to find a parrot to adopt, but it will be worth it, you will have saved a life.

Lucky Parrot does not do adoptions, we can perhaps point you in the right direction.

Lucky Parrot offers permanent sanctuary to older parrots.

We do not breed, buy, sell, or broker parrots.

All the Lucky Parrots are here permanently.

We are not equipped to handle adoptions, although, we may be able to suggest potential adoption sources.
